The IPS screen is a TFT-based technology, which is essentially a TFT screen. The IPS screen (In-Plane Switching, plane conversion) technology is a liquid crystal panel technology introduced by Hitachi in 2001, commonly known as "Super TFT".

The biggest feature of the IPS panel is that its two poles are on the same plane, unlike other liquid crystal mode electrodes, which are arranged on the upper and lower sides. This technology optimizes the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules and adopts a horizontal arrangement. When external pressure is encountered, the molecular structure sinks slightly downward, but the overall molecule is also horizontal. In the face of external forces, hard-screen liquid crystal molecular structure is much better than the soft screen! Therefore, it will not produce picture distortion and affect the picture color, and it can protect the picture to the greatest extent without being damaged. There is also an improved S-IPS panel that belongs to IPS.

In terms of the size of the LCD screen, the IPS also has an obvious advantage over the old LCD screen. For example, 42-inch and 40-inch panels in the mainstream, and 42-inch LCD TVs with hard-screen technology have 67.58 square inches more than the 40-inch area of the old LCD screen. This is not just a 2-inch literal difference, but a complete one. More laptops. In the 42-inch screen, the digital TV screen can be completely displayed, so consumers can enjoy a larger screen of the game. The 40-inch picture is slightly inferior, and the small part of the corner is still not displayed, and the restored picture is defective.
